Claire is 4 months old

Our Claire is 4 months old! She is getting so big!

She rolled from her back to her tummy last night and has been on the move today. She likes being her her belly a little more than she used to, but really prefers to be standing or sitting up.

She loves reaching for toys and watching Kate play. She giggles when you kiss her neck and gives big smiles when you talk to her.

She has a lot more hair than Kate did and it's getting darker. You can see how dark her eyebrows are getting.

She's sleeping about 5 hours at night. Kate was sleeping 12 hours at this age and I just can't figure out how to get Claire to that point or really any point between 5 and 12 hours. One of these days...

Matt and I call her Claire Bear and Kate calls her Claire Bear Amelia. She loves being what Daddy calls a Claire-plane where he puts her up in the air.

She is such a joy!

Kate just looks so grown up! She carries my old ballet bag with her ballet slippers and water bottle to class. Baby Nonnie often gets to come too.

The back of her hair is getting really long. If the poor top and sides would just grow!

I love this picture of the girls! They were so funny this day. I'm really glad I got a shot of them with the same silly grin.

Artist

Kate's Christmas present from us was this art easel. She LOVES it! It's been a lot of fun watching her draw and make up stories to go with her art.

Here's her name- e Kat.

She says this is me. I'm not sure if I like that or not.

Our family according to Kate and me. (Matt was offended that I didn't give him a beard so I added one.)

This one is a little more complicated. The thing in the middle with brown hair was a giant with "lots of legs", then it was Matt. The blue one in the top left corner is Kate- the little giant. The tiny red one on the right is Claire. The purple circles on the bottom right side is "where we all live".

Settling In

We've been back at work and in class for 2 weeks and we're finally figuring out how to live life with 2 kiddos. The house is still a disaster, but hopefully we'll get it back in order tomorrow since we don't have to work. There are lots of toys that need a new home and we're just out of space!
